This is a calcium chloride mine but you'll also find rock formations dense areas of Joshua Trees Amboy Crater and colorful sculptures. If you're road tripping in or out of Joshua Tree this way you can also stop at Mojave Trails or Mojave National Monument. We're thinking about starting a personal desert journal soon just to jot down Joshua Tree's mood each day. We're thinking about starting a personal desert journal soon just to jot down Joshua Tree's mood each day. Yesterday's would include spotting a mama Quail and almost twenty newborn baby quail going to sleep after a 100 degree day to wake up to 60 degrees and watching a pink cotton candy sunset just before a crazy wind storm. The desert always keeps it interesting! (hat is by @brookesboswell) #jthouseadventures
