Lucky strike cigarettes directly used visual cues to market their product to women in the 1960s. They campaign centered around the new popular colors in woman's fashion. Matching the cigarette pack to the hot colors of the season.

THE PREMISE Lois Lane, Girl Reporter follows the adventures of young Lois Lane. At eleven years old, Lois has discovered her calling: investigative journalism. She sets out to right wrongs and help out her friends. This series explores Lois’s character, reveals her surprising early influence on the future Man of Steel, and introduces fun new elements into this enduring character’s back story. In each book, Lois will tackle a problem or mystery affecting the members of the community she finds herself in as she travels around the country. The investigations in this series will not be mystical or supernatural (though some characters may suspect such sources), but real world problems that Lois works to set right............(sigh. Too bad DC Comics decided not to print this.)

BOOK 44: The Guinea Pig Diaries, by A.J. Jacobs THOUGHTS: Disclaimer: This guy doesn't just research a story, he makes himself the story (thus the subtitle My Life as an Experiment), and it often leads to quite amusing results. This make me laugh, piqued my interest in a few subjects, and made me think a bit about how we do things as a society. Interesting read. REVIEW: 4 out of 5

I laughed out loud. That makes any book worth reading. - - Excellent book & Movie!!!!
Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia is a 2006 memoir by American author Elizabeth Gilbert. The memoir chronicles the author's trip around the world after her divorce and what she discovered during her travels. The book remained on The New York Times Best Seller list for 187 weeks. The movie rights for the memoir were purchased by Columbia Pictures. The film version, which stars American actress Julia Roberts, was released in theaters on Friday, August 13, 2010. Gilbert followed up this book with the sequel Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace with Marriage, released through Viking in January 2010. It covers her life after Eat, Pray, Love ends.
Cerys G.'s Pick - Eat, Pray, Love - One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia by Elizabeth Gilbert. "Brutally self-indulgent writing, but also a good book to examine one’s own path in life of self-acceptance." #Kobo #eBook

How J.K. Rowling wrote the Harry Potter Book Series
Not much to say about the Harry Potter series other than it's one of my favourite series of all time!! JK Rowling creates such an amazing world. The characters on Harry, Ron & Hermonie are amazing! I'm just sad there are no more books or movies in the series to enjoy! I highly recommend this series!!

A Child Called It: One Child's Courage to Survive. By Dave Pelzer. First book in a 3 part series of a boy that survived nearly fatal child abuse. The second book is about his time in foster care, and the third is about becoming the adult he is today. Very sad book but worth reading!!!
A Child Called It: One Child's Courage to Survive. By Dave Pelzer. First book in a 3 part series of a boy that survived nearly fatal child abuse. I recommend it for anyone, most especially for those of us who work with children. This series is heart breaking.
(Another person wrote) One of my favorite books. This book is a true story about one of the worst child abuse cases in California's history. It came to an end on March 5, 1973 when Dave Pelzer entered foster care. Dave begins his incredible story as an abused child with his rescue in part one of a series, A Child Called "It". Calling this book a "page turner" doesn't give it justice. Easy to read, but difficult to comprehend how any mother could treat her child this way.
a child called it.. definetly a book worth reading
