Hunger Games Map of the Day: The author of an unofficial guide to Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games novels has created a map that shows how the districts of Panem correspond to present-day North America. (Embiggen.) Using passages from the book and guesses based on tectonic plate formations, The Panem Companion author V. Arrow decided where the 13 districts belong and which parts of the continent are just underwater. Now you know which district to root for in the Games — assuming your hometown survived the flood, anyway. (Sorry, most of Canada!) V. Arrow has posted a detailed explanation of her methodology on her blog, in case you’re curious about how these district boundaries were determined.
Really well researched map of Panem from the Hunger Games trilogy. AWESOME
Which district are you in? I'm in 6...laaammmeee. The way it's set up is kind of random too.

Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia is a 2006 memoir by American author Elizabeth Gilbert. The memoir chronicles the author's trip around the world after her divorce and what she discovered during her travels. The book remained on The New York Times Best Seller list for 187 weeks. The movie rights for the memoir were purchased by Columbia Pictures. The film was released in theaters on August 13, 2010 (Wikipedia)
eat pray love. Wonderful book. Worth reading again and again.
I have a small collection of some of my favorite books that I keep out at the Utah house. I just started Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert for the second time. It's been at least 5 years since I first read (and loved!) it.
For One More Day is a 2006 philosophical novel by Mitch Albom. Like his previous works (Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven), it features mortality as a central theme. The book tells the story of a troubled man and his mother, and explores how people might use the opportunity to spend a day with a lost relative.

best Jodi Picoult book in my opinion. About a high school shooting, and the whole book takes place in 19 minutes.
One of my favorite Jodi Picoult books. I think almost everyone can identify with the book in some way. In this emotionally charged novel, Jodi Picoult delves beneath the surface of a small town to explore what it means to be different in our society. In Sterling, New Hampshire, 17-year-old high school student Peter Houghton has endured years of verbal and physical abuse at the hands of classmates. His best friend, Josie Cormier, succumbed to peer pressure and now hangs out with the popular crowd that often instigates the harassment. One final incident of bullying sends Peter over the edge and leads him to commit an act of violence that forever changes the lives of Sterling’s residents. Even those who were not inside the school that morning find their lives in an upheaval, including Alex Cormier. The superior court judge assigned to the Houghton case, Alex—whose daughter, Josie, witnessed the events that unfolded—must decide whether or not to step down. She’s torn between presiding over the biggest case of her career and knowing that doing so will cause an even wider chasm in her relationship with her emotionally fragile daughter. Josie, meanwhile, claims she can’t remember what happened in the last fatal minutes of Peter’s rampage. Or can she? And Peter’s parents, Lacy and Lewis Houghton, ceaselessly examine the past to see what they might have said or done to compel their son to such extremes. Rich with psychological and social insight, Nineteen Minutes is a riveting, poignant, and thought-provoking novel that has at its center a haunting question. Do we ever really know someone?
Nineteen Minutes. - Another for my need to read list :)
Nineteen Minutes was an amazing story. It kept me hooked from beginning to end. Definitely a book worth reading more than once!
By far my favorite Jodi Picoult book and in my top five favorite books ever read. It is a gut wrenching novel about a school shooting. Picoult is an amazing author that can take a black and white situation and form an area of grey in your mind

Although all of Emily Giffin's books are great, I liked Something Borrowed and Something Blue the most!
Something Borrowed - Started this at the beginning of the summer, and finally finished it! I can't wait to get the movie!! :) A very good book to read about love, being runner up to your best friend, and stealing something that you shouldn't :)
Something Borrowed........ Actually really can't decide if this should go here or in "Not worth reading" but I guess I enjoyed it enough to recommend. If you're looking for a bit of highly flawed fluff. It's a pretty fun/quick read, but it does have problems. If you read this one, also read Something Blue.
One of my favorite reads
Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. favorite book!!
whitleylife.com to see more book reviews! Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin The book and movie really followed along the same lines. I have actually read the second book in this series, and I read it before Something Borrowed. This book was a quick easy read. I enjoy Emily Griffin's writing style and loved how she created all of the tension between characters and loved the evolution of some of the other characters.
