When you are working on a certain set of skills/strategies, print out small cards with questions to ask students. Use paperclips to clip them in read aloud or shared reading books. This saves time because you can copy the same questions for re-use!

Word work ideas: each pencil case has a different way to practice spelling words. Spelling words houses in one locations. Students choose word list, grab a pencil case, and practice words. Only have to change the word lists.
