Coming up in our October 15th Jewellery auction:- an early 19th Century gentleman's 18k skeleton open faced pocket watch with repeat action by Breguet a Paris, stamped DLG K18 13591, the back plate with sunburst decoration above a vacant cartouche, 5.75cm diameter, (with a small scallop shell watch key). L.M.S. stands for the London Midland and Scottish Railway which operated from 1923 to 1947. This painting may be a preliminary design for a railway poster.
