This white and black photo drove my attention because of its composition. The old house is located in the third inferior cuadrant, leaving place for the background to its left, which is covered by the land and the clouds in the sky. I think it is a perfect photo also because it is demonstrating that the inclement of the wheather could have done this place abandoned.
I chose this photo because the shooting water brings attention to the two kids hugging. The little boy looks like he's protecting the little girl from the water. It's a great photo because it shows how amazing the bond between a brother and sister can be.
For me, it's always going to be the striking Father/Son shot. As a son, as a father, I can relate to and empathize with the emotion of the scene. The composition, though, also does a fantastic job of bringing the loving bond of a father and his son front and center in the shot. It's like we can't help but be transported back to our childhood and feel the warmth and strength of our own father's arms embracing us.
