I chose this picture because it represents something that can not happen the way you are seeing it happen. this is a good example of trick photography, and how you can shoot at an angle to manipulate reality
This edited photo works really well. It is an old photograph using modern techniques to heighten the intensity of the image. I think cases like this are very ethical because it is not damaging, anything only helping.
I chose this photo because it very obviously shows the use of color editing. I think it is ethical. The editing tools were just used to enhance the image and remove shadows. They make the little girl cuter.
I like this picture because of the forced perspective. It's done so well that it looks like a poster, even though the stairs are drawn on a wall. I think the lighter paint behind the girl also frames the picture nicely. Overall, it's a simple yet effective photo.
I like this photo because of its exemplary use of color, even in a black and white setting. The white dress contrasts substantially with the rest of the darker background and creates a definitive focal point. I also like that the photo is taken underwater, which distorts the horizon line and leaves the woman suspended in the 'air.' The texture created by the water surface (compounded with the reflection of the white) is another element that gives the photo an added dimension.
I picked this photo because it has been altered digitally and pretty well done too. I chose this one because I thought it was funny and I'm personally not a fan of altering portraits or photos in general like those that are seen in magazines. Without question the editing in this photo is ethical and I think the world as a whole has gotten better because of this photo.
