Pinner says: Mosquito Spray...I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well...worth a try...
Toothpaste Dots for camping. Lay out foil sheet or parchment and make rows of dollops of toothpaste. Allow to dry for 2-4 days. Sprinkle baking soda on top to keep from sticking. Repackage in small bags. To use simply pop one dot in your mouth, chew, then add a small amount of water in your mouth and start brushing. This reduces weight in your pack.
Campsite Cabinet The camp hanger shown is easily made by attaching hooks to an old leather belt. For hardware, hang S-hooks or bend stout wire through holes punched in the leather. The hanger will be found quite a convenience for clothing and utensils used around the camp.
