Describing speech sounds to kids. Teaching how to say a sound or working on phonemic awareness skills. From site pinned: "You will notice that the names of the speech sounds/phonemes relate to the way they sound or the way our mouths look while producing the sound. For example, the /s/ is the snake sound because a snake’s hiss can sound like the “sssssssssss,” the /b/ is the bouncing sound because the lips bounce off one another when making the sound, and so on."

Synonym and antonym color worksheet.
A FUN way to review antonyms and synonyms! I would use this as a stimulus, giving each child a vibrant coloured paper shape that tesselates (like pattern blocks). The children write their synonym and antonym on their paper, then start to construct their multicoloured pattern quilt. They can cover 2D space and language outcomes at the same time AND make a great artwork.
A FUN way to review antonyms and synonyms! Art Therapy
A creative way to help students review antonyms and synonyms.
I don't particularly love worksheets, but I do think this is a cute idea. it also makes me think of a quilt activity where they could make their own "quilt piece" that has either a synonym or antonym (synonym pieces being one color and antonyms being another) and a picture they drew, and we could tape them together to make a quilt.
