This would be a great way to organize differentiated centers. Each center can have a different color crate and then the holders inside could be labeled for each group offering leveled activities for centers.
Anytime we go out in the hall, I pull one out, look at, it and put it in my pocket.... The person drawn is my "mystery walker." I secretly watch that child and grant a reward once we return to the room if the child had excellent line behavior.
