Make your wood floors shine with tea! Cleaning floors with black tea is a safe and natural way to make your wood surfaces shine. The tannic acid in tea, finished with a light buff of olive oil, does wonders for wood! Steep one of two tea bags in quart of water and let the water cool to room temperature. Remove the tea bags, and dip a soft cloth into the solution. Wipe down the floors, and admire how easily the scratches and imperfections disappear!
A little embarrassed to admit it, but I haven't cleaned my grout in 4 years (well ever, to be exact, but the tile got installed 4 years ago). Anyway, with white distilled vinegar and a little elbow grease...looks brand new! Just FYI, I used a little nylon brush, which was more heavy duty than a toothbrush. I also mopped (which got rid of the vinegar smell), then used a grout sealer to help protect my hard work. I'll be sure to take before AND after photos when I get to the bathroom!
For Grout- Ceramic tile grout cleaner! Borax & White Vinegar! "I just got done doing my entire bathroom... My grout looks as good as the day it was laid down! Not even the stuff from Lowe's worked this good!!!"
The "miracle" of baking soda and peroxide. Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl.....add enough peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers or sponge. Cleans EVERYTHING! Stove, oven, pans, stainless steel applicances, even the white handles of the refrig door
