Soak orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar then pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. Use as a non-toxic and yummy smelling "green" cleaner. I love using vinegar to clean with but have always wondered how to make it smell better - can't wait to do this!

SO FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Soak steel wool in apple cider vinegar, rub down new wood with the soaked steel wool for an instantly aged wood look. Good to know for "vintage" signs.

How to Clean Pillows. Good to know! I do this every other month, but I also wash my pillows on the hottest setting with a cup of bleach. Always does the trick. This way, you don't have to do the "smell" check! I also like my pillows to smell fresh, so I add fabric softener to the washer and dry with a sheet. Also helps get rid of static in your hair on those dry winter months!

Clean Your Air Conditioner Condenser Unit

"My husband owned his own A/C business for a long time....he said everything on here is the PROPER way to do this.....do it yourself, will make unit not work so hard and you save $ by not paying the A/C company!" Our electric bill rose to $430 two years ago and a simple A/C cleaning lowered it to $150. Totally re-pinning this.

The COUNTLESS Uses for Baking Soda (Besides Baking)!

Every couple of months sprinkle a mixture of baking soda and a tablespoon of your favorite fabric softener over your mattress, let it sit for an hour, and then vacuum it up. Gets rid of dust mites and freshens up the mattress. Keep that same mixture in a small mason jar with holes poked in the top in your linen or clothes closet to keep it smelling fresh! Many Baking Soda Tips!!!

Do not be defeated by the dreaded burnt pot — cleaning it up is easier than you'd think

Clean burnt pots - vinegar, baking soda, and water :) I had been soaking a pan for 2 days, scrubbing like crazy several times. Brought the water n vinegar to a boil, added baking soda. Waited a couple mins, dumped it all out, everything just wiped off! I had a brand new looking pan! I will be remembering this one.
