Playing with bugs. Put the Easter grass in the sensory table. Awesome!

Bugs in the Sensory Table

3 bags of green Easter grass, with hidden plastic ladybugs and ants. Each child at the sensory table used a pair of tweezers and a bug box. They searched through the grass to find the bugs, picked them up with tweezers, and placed them in their bug box.

the coolest thing ever. its glue with salt on top and it looks like snow. you can add paint with a dropper to make it a cool colorful snow picture. i am most defiantly going to do this with my preschooler students.

Sensory boards made out of dollar store cutting boards and common objects from the craft cupboard and around the house. There is sand paper - kitchen scrubbies - car wash mitts - place mats - terrycloth toweling - fun fur etc. The edging is made from colourful shoelaces and each item is glued down with tacky glue - I find it stronger than hot glue - it just had to dry for a couple of days before use. The children really seem to enjoy them!
