I love Southern writers & Truman Capote is one of my favorites! He was the master of short stories and Breakfast At Tiffany's is a masterpiece. The book published in 1958 tells a story of a young girl who comes to NYC to reinvent herself in the hopes of finding fame & fortune...it doesn't end well! More than 5 decades later NYC is still mangling Holly Golightly types, it's a cautionary tale.
