No Sugar Oatmeal Cookies If you saw my weight-loss post, you’d probably think that since I lost over 200 pounds I’m a pretty healthy eater and that I like to work out a lot. Well you’re wrong. Im lazy, and I live off Chipotle and Cheez-It’s. And Del-Taco (gotta love 99c burritos at 2am). But just because I eat like a glutton doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy healthy food. Sometimes I even prefer it—as with today’s recipe for sugar-free oatmeal cookies. Even if you’re not on a diet, you’ll enjoy this. I mean, come on—cookies…that are good for you! What you need:1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup oatmeal1 tsp. ground cinnamon1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg1/4 tsp. ground allspice1/4 tsp. ground cloves1/2 cup raisins1 cup unsweetened applesauce1/4 cup water1/3 cup vegetable oil2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla extract1/4 cup finely chopped nuts How you make it:Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat well. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until browned. 48 cookies. Delicious.

Toffee Oatmeal Raisin Cookies- 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1-1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 3 cups oats 1 cup raisins 1 cup crushed toffee bits Cream butter, sugar & brown sugar. Beat in eggs & vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda & cinnamon. Blend flour combination into egg mixture. Fold in oats & toffee bits. Drop by onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
