We read the book several times then the students chose one rule they thought was especially important to them and they typed their rule during Computer Lab time. Then each student created a picture of David and they turned out AMAZING!
"Bucket Fillers" is a classroom strategy used to help build a sense of community in the classroom by having student's "fill" other classmates "buckets" with compliments, kindness, confidence boosters, etc. Student's are encouraged to be "Bucket Fillers" (a person who supports others) instead of a "Bucket Dipper" (a person who is unkind to others).
