Free printable template for gumball machine. I am using this for multiplication fact families. Use garage sale circle stickers as the "gumballs" Each time a student completes a mult. test a student earns a gumball from the machine. 1st student to complete their numbers 1-12 gets one fo the gumball machines( the cheap ones from Wal-Mart)...Found this originally on a pinterest teacher's blog, but do not see the original pin. Will be doing to reinforce fact families with my 5th graders.
100 day activities. Partner up kids, or play in groups of 4. Give one dice, pencil, and a 100 charts to each player/couple. Higher grade levels: roll and keep adding (or subtracting) the number you rolled, until you get to exactly 100. Cross out the numbers as you go along, erase the line when you subtract, until you get to exactly 100.
Great classroom organization tip! Put bulletin board numbers or words on large rings--everything flips. No more boxes/files to store extra numbers or words. Make a few blank cards on the rings too, so you can change things up when necessary.
