Who does not like the scent of Baby Powder, clean, tender, sweet, and fresh all at the same time. While, I hate to name drop this one smells just like the “J & J” brand we all know and love. So I used a delicate but definite pink and dropped in Blue and Aqua striped chunks. Turned out looking really good. All this in 3 Butters: Mango, Shea, and Coco Butters, Plus Glycerin…so rich and super kind to your skin. See it at the MamouchaSoaps.com store
Spring is here! It is time to start dreaming of crocuses, daffodils, and lilac in bloom. In keeping with spring fever, here is Aqua and Bluish Purple in a Shea Butter & Glycerin bar. I finished the brew with some Mauve Mica for shimmer in the dark stripes. Mica is a mineral which is ground up very fine and used in eye shadow to color to make it shimmer. Is this a girlie bar? Oh yes! But don’t trust the male in your house to leave it alone.
This may be one of my favorites of all time. Lately I have been fascinated with Opalescent Micas, (the mineral they use in eye shadow), because they look like beautiful ice in glycerin soap. This one contrasts a warm Chestnut, and Red Violet, with Green Opals. It is gorgeous! The fragrance is Sea Glass which combines the scent of Sea Water, Citrus tones, Woods, and Ozone.
Lemon Verbena is a clean and fresh smelling herb that married with Shea Butter and Glycerin results in this lovely soap. Both Shea Butter and Glycerin are kind to your skin, and actually attract moisture out of the air. I used stable pigments to color this soap Whisper Green, Red Violet, and Opalescent Green. The Opal Green is Mica, the same safe mineral used in eye shadow. Enjoy getting clean with this delightful bar.
