Sam's DIY Mini Bar Credenza

reuse, recycle

Home bar cabinets can be quite expensive. That’s why I think it’s a good idea to make one by yourself. The simplest way to do that is to buy an old armoire on a garage sale and renovate it using paint. To make it more comfortable you can add some bottle racks, shelves and hooks for bartending essentials and towels inside of it.

#DIY mini bar for the apartment!

DIY mini bar using a shelf from ikea.

I'm seriously doing this...or something similar. My new apartment has NO kitchen cabinet space and I happen to have 2 bookshelves that don't have a place to go!

DIY Buffet: Start with a small rectangular dining table or desk. Cut the table in half lengthwise, cut the legs on one half to 12 inches tall, then paint both pieces. When dry, secure the bottom half to the wall using a wooden cleat. Stack the top piece on top; secure to the bottom section and to the wall.
