As much as I am dreading Tom Hooper's film adaptation of the musical Les Miserables, I am of course interested to see it. It could very well turn into a sad pale reflection of the stage production (like unto the film version of Rent), or it could turn out excellent well (like unto classic movie musicals). But if Anne Hathaway plays Fantine... Mr. Hooper and I will be having words.
