Line a cookie sheet with foil and place a cooling rack on top of the pan. This will allow the bacon to crisp on all sides. Cut each bacon strip into 4 pieces. Ingredients:1-15.5 oz can chickpeas, rinsed, drained; 3 c fresh cilantro leaves 1 garlic clove, chopped;1 chopped avocado; 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 1 tsp fresh lemon juice; salt & pepper to taste. Directions: In food processor, combine chickpeas, cilantro, garlic & avocado. Process til finely chopped. With machine running, add olive oil in slow, steady stream, then add lemon juice, then add water, 1 tbsp at a time, til mix is smooth. Serve w/lemon wedges & tortilla chips.

Best hummus recipe - Barefoot Contessa...increase this recipe to two cans of chic peas, and then increase the rest of the ingredients by half, with a little extra lemon juice to taste (I used almost 5 lemons). Only use the amount of salt in the initial recipe, otherwise it could be too salty. For sauce I used Louisiana hot sauce, and you can't really taste it. That being said this is GREAT HUMMUS!
