Violet Jessop. At 23, she was a stewardess aboard the luxury ship RMS Olympic when it collided with British warship HMS Hawke. Less than two years later, Violet survived the sinking of the Titanic. In 1916, she served as a nurse aboard the Hospital Ship Britannic when it struck a mine and sank. Violet managed to survive. Despite three brushes with death aboard ships, she remained a stewardess for her entire life, and, luckily, never endured another sinking.
