Criminalize Conservatism

WHY HASNT EVERYBODY READ THIS this is literally what I hear every time I hear a republican talk>>> I seriously don't understand people who DON'T want equal rights and equal opportunities. Like, wtf?

Weird, I'd never thought about this before-- yet, I know women with partners that are emotionally absent/physically demanding, but they stay because "at least he doesn't beat me." Obviously, plenty of men are neither abusive nor sub-par as people, but it's an interesting point to consider. I have a male friend who recently had a bit of an epiphany-- that he treated his girlfriend like crap and justified it by saying "I treat her better than the last guy"; he was horrified to realize it.

This is like every sitcom marriage portrayal ever and every irl woman saying they need to lower their bar / not be as picky when choosing potential partners; I'm going to die alone before I settle tho.

#equality Just because we didn't have the "concept" in words, doesn't mean it wasn't a thing that still happened. people used to think diseases were people being possessed by demons; just because we didn't have a concept of disease doesn't mean they didn't exist until we did. Also, the idea that sexual identities are new is a misconception brought on by white European cultures that invaded. PLENTY of cultures, even long ago, had concepts of sexuality other than straight.
