The Power of NOT Giving the Answer...ever asked the students a question and let them stew on it for DAYS? Come check out today's blog post to see how I worked to REALLY get my students thinking about fractions--not just TELLING them about fractions.
Great for reading and speaking activites to spark discussion and check comprehension. Write the answer in the middle of the board. Hand out post it notes for students to write questions that have that answer. Great to revise a topic or chapter of a book!
