Homemade dishwasher detergent. Note from Pinner - this really does get the white film off water glasses. I don't know that I'll ever go back to purchasing expensive dishwashing detergent again.

dishwasher soap - Baking Soda (frugal favorite!) Borax (all-natural household cleaner, available at many stores in the laundry aisle) Mix together equal parts of each ingredient, store in a labeled container Use just like a commercial powdered detergent, approximately 2 TBS per load. That’s it! Each load will cost you mere pennies. (also use vinegar in the jetdry well instead of the expensive stuff)

I'll be cleaning carpets tomorrow, so i need this!! Blue Dawn dish soap + hydrogen peroxide are all it takes to get rid of even the toughest carpet stains (that black stuff on the left photo is ACRYLIC PAINT)! Going to try in the car!
