"Some people were impressed, but the politics of the decision was more law and order and about demonizing (college kids) to pull the blue collar, (Democratic) voters their way." Greg Craig, who would later become White House Counsel to President Barack Obama is also in this video. He's sitting to Agnew's left.

Gallagher that the federal Fair Housing Act can be enforced when a seemingly neutral housing policy results in discrimination. The Opportunity Agenda joined AARP, ACLU, The Lawyers’ Committee For Civil Rights Under Law and the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund in filing briefs with the court. (The Equal Justice Society signed on to the Opportunity Agenda brief.) Twelve state attorneys general also filed briefs in favor of fair housing law enforcement. j.mp/wIGHtG
