To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books I had to read it in high school and totally loved it I have read it about 4 times. It is one of my favorites because it teaches you about life and to no judge others based on how they look. The movie is also one of my favorite movies!
My favorite book of all time! "Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit 'em, but remember it's a sin to kill a mockingbird." A lawyer's advice to his children as he defends the real mockingbird of Harper Lee's classic novel—a black man charged with the rape of a white girl. Through the young eyes of Scout and Jem Finch, Harper Lee explores with rich humor and unswerving honesty the irrationality of adult attitudes toward race and class in the Deep South of the 1930s. The conscience of a town steeped in prejudice, violence, and hypocrisy is pricked by the stamina and quiet heroism of one man's struggle for justice—but the weight of history will only tolerate so much. One of the best-loved classics of all time, To Kill a Mockingbird has earned many dis-tinctions since its original publication in 1960. It has won the Pulitzer Prize, been translated into more than forty languages, sold more than forty million copies worldwide, and been made into an enormously popular movie. It was also named the best novel of the twentieth century by librarians across the country (Library Journal). HarperCollins is proud to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the book's publication with this special hardcover edition.

emily bronte wuthering heights
Worth Reading, Book Worth, Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte, Movies, Favorite Book, Great Book, Classic
My absolute favorite book , read it about six times, just between ages 12 and 14. Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte: The ultimate gothic romance. Full of mystery and misery.
a classic novel worth reading
Wuthering Heights is the only published novel by Emily Brontë, written between October 1845 and June 1846 and published in July of the following year. It was not printed until December 1847. Today considered a classic of English literature, Wuthering Heights met with mixed reviews and controversy when it first appeared, mainly because of the narrative's stark depiction of mental and physical cruelty.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte - I have never liked any movie version of this I've seen, so I never made the effort to read the book. That was a mistake that I recently rectified. It has simply never been adapted to the screen properly. Such a powerful story! I don't think it was insanity, particularly on Catherine's end. Dysfunction...oh yes. And there were no ghosts. *rolls eyes* But I do think they were two people who were bigger and wilder than their humanity allowed them to be.
Wuthering Heights. Emily Bronte. Favourite classic
One of my favorites since I first picked it up. A book worth reading over and over again.

Yeah, I know everyone on the planet loves these books, but I have to restrict my love to the first one, and reserve "liking okay" for the last two.
