Paris, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. My eye makeup looks EXACTLY like this without any professional help. Good to know I'm so on trend.

Wish I was this committed to makeup wearing. Instead, I'm committed to makeup buying.

This is the best picture I have EVER seen of Nikki Minaj. How strange is that? She looks the closest to pretty when painted blue. Think it's because the blue is so extreme that the makeup artist left everything else well enough alone, so you can how beautiful she really is.

Couldn't tell you why, but I really like this. Perhaps because I look much like this in the morning, only not as art-directed, and in my knickers?

Chanel, Paris-Bombay show. 2012 check list: Dreads. Black kohl. Chains, Ear-to-nose rings. I might even try pink.

I am obsessed with replacing my leather jeans from the old days in NYC; all of my cool rock star clothes were packed away in my brother's attic & accidentally included in a garage sale. However, decent leather pants -- even crap leather pants -- are out of the budget. Then my teenage son tells me that it is highly inappropriate for "someone your age and a mother" to wear leather jeans. Yet he lives. And these are the compromise pants (said compromise with wallet only, not son).

Must figure out how to do this to my hair; it's gotten too long for my usual French twist. Plus, I just like this. I have no idea why.

LOVE this dress. Have nowhere I'll ever be able to wear it unless Steve and I renew our vows. Which I would do just to get my hands on it.

Again with the nails! Claiming they are Jimi Hendrix-inspired does not make this look fly (heh, fly, "Little Wing," Jimi). But I LOVE her makeup.

What words I have in common with this headline (ignoring conjunctions and verbs): kelly, gray hair, other. What I do not: young, celebrities, kate moss, osbourne, who, photos.

Love the "Tiger Eyes" especially from the Anne Valerie Hash S/S runway. Guess Cat's Eye too subtle for me.

Love side braids! Yet my hair is longer than all of theirs, and my braid never looks as "hefty." Operator error? Lack of proper product? Using just my own hair?

Ignoring all the suggested substitute looks, I love Hilary Rhoda's outfit from scarf to stilettos. C'est parfait. I like my fake animal prints subtle, if that's not a total contradiction.

Love pencil skirts, never seem to look right on me. But this is hot in a very cool, elegant way -- an aspirational look for me.
