The mothers day gifts my grade one students made. Instructions: 1. Paint terra cotta pots with white acrylic paint 2. Use stamp pads to make thumb and finger prints 3. Use fine tip markers to decorate prints into various animals (Google finger print art for ideas) 4. Write: "Thumb"body loves you Mom! on the top of pot 5. Full the pot with flowers or herbs ~Pam Ralston

Teacher Appreciation Flower Pot I made for my CT -- I had all my students use their fingerprints for the flower petals, then wrote their names along the stem. Afterwords, I was able to add butterflies, caterpillars, ladybugs, and a sun. :)
