One of my Literacy Stations is called Roll-N-Read. The students are given a dice, as they ROLL it, they will then READ the line that corresponds with the number they read. The students will take turns rolling the dice and reading the lines on the chart. The arrows under the words means they need to read the words 'smoothly'. Lines 1 & 2 = weekly spelling words Line 3 = Weekly High Frequency Words Lines 4, 5, & 6 = Sentences using the High Frequency Words

Game for sight words. Canister is filled with cups and each cup has a sight word on it. When a sight word is read correctly, they can start building a tower. If they get a word wrong or knock over the tower or the tower falls, they have to start over.
