Thinking of using this as a guide for our Closing Program printed program.... but words would say something else.... maybe "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, watch these kids go Zoom Zoom!". Perhaps have our school's letters climbing up the tree (vca pre k)?
I found this example of what one Pre-K did. I like the leis and them holding up each letter as it is referenced in the song. (I think I would like to do the same idea, but with the Chicka Chicak Boom Boom song)
I would love to teach the kids this entire song and sing it during our Closing Program.... with matching yellow Chicka T-shirts. Would lvoe to cut out props of large lower-case alphabet letters for each student to hold. (we have 26 students!)
ChickaChicka t-shirts for the end of the year!! The kids made handprints with green fabric paint on the shirt. I had adults sponge paint a trunk and add coconuts. The adults then scattered the letters of the kids' names on the shirt. On the back, the adults wrote Chicka Chicka Boom Boom w/dot letters. We used these for our field trip t-shirts and our end of the year program.
