The lined bodice has a blind front hook and eye closure, is piped at the armscyes, and is trimmed in a pretty black French Chantilly lace at the neckline and sleeves. Piped at the directionally pleated waistband of the unlined skirt, with a deep polished cotton facing and a twill tape floor brush. Circa 1864.
