thirtysomething - Still one of my all-time favorite TV series.
This was a good show in the early '80s. Some of the actors went on to other projects, some? Don't know, maybe Broadway rather than TV. Peter Horton (far right in bomber jacket) has become a big TV and movie producer. The guy on the far left with the red hair does lots of TV shows. The others? Don't know. . .

F R I E N D S <3
"So no one told you life was gonna be this way"... sums up Friends. This TV show's unpredictability and quick wit made it a comedy. The Friends finale was the most watched episode of the decade. In this show, 6 friends do everything together and will always "be there for you." In the 90s people aspired to be like Rachael, and wanted to be a part of the Friends group. The humor was about common problems of this age group, getting a job and marriage, which were both valued in the 90s.
will forever be my favorite tv show
Friends - better than cheers in my book - I don't need everyone to know my name. Just the understanding of "we were on a break"

The Cosby Show

The Cosby Show. This is the show that ruled the 80s. It defied the stereotype of the black family who had a mom and dad who were professionals and lived a very easy life compared to Good Times whose family were together but shared the same struggles that many real families had. The Cosby Kids are all well and happy today and I don't know of any who have been on drugs. That goes to show the influence of it's creator Bill Cosby. I loved every episode. Real comedy laughs.
The Cosby sweaters. Burned into my memory forever.
