The Future of The WP Chick
Here we are my friends… the last week of September. Nothing like a change of seasons to bring about thoughts of change, right? Personally, I prefer a change in the fall as opposed to the first of the year (although that always feels good too). There’s something about the end of summer, leaves changing (eventually… it’s supposed to be in the 90’s again this week), and the end of the year looming that makes me feel like going within and re-evaluating.

I was watching a video this morning about advice to college grads (yes, it was a GaryVee video) and it got me thinking about what I would do if I were starting over (sidenote: if you’ve never done this exercise, it’s fascinating. It’s also a great place to start whenever you’re feeling stuck. How I answer this question today is very different than how I answered it 5 years ago). Yep, that’s LL Cool J. That was the first thing that popped into my head when I thought of this post title. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, LL Cool J has a song called ‘Mama Said Knock You Out”, where he starts off singing “Don’t call it a comeback… I’ve been here for years.” I won’t go into more lyrics here because they’re not super applicable, but I’ve noticed this trend since the beginning of the year.
