The diamond tiara belonged to Grand Duchess Hilda (1864-1952), the daughter of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Schmidt Staub designed this tiara in 1906/1907. It was possibly made as a kokoshnik of garland style. These interconnecting bands are hanging eleven, graduated diamonds of a total of 15 ct. The largest of them weighs approximately 5 ct. Additionally, the tiara is set with 457 old cut and 225 single cut diamonds totaling approximately 75 ct and mounted in gold and plutinam.
