bubble wrap!? This stitch pattern is so cool & it's reversible. The search is on for the written directions on how to do it. This is just a pix of something sold by Nordstrom's. Ah, but to MAKE it -- there's the fun! If you know where to find the directions for this knitting stitch pattern, please let me know. ty

Girls ~ I have been looking for a slightly different bubble wrap stitch but have perhaps found what you are after ~ http://www.groupepp.com/dis...

Thank you, Arlene. The pattern you found is very close, but purls separate the bubbles in the pattern I want. Maybe if I play with the pattern you found I can figure it out. You're sweet to find it!

Lynnea I stumbled upon your comment above and was in fact looking for a pattern right then. lol Sometimes hard to figure how a stitch has been manipulated. I am looking for one such, which is done in a two colour and not sure the four methods I have found, will produce just the right effect either....... good luck!!

I've been looking, as well. The problem with all of the patterns for it online is that they are all stockingette. If you look at the blanket, it is a combo of knits and purls. Stockingette bubbles, and reverse stockingette for the spaces between the bubbles. Someone needs to just design this! I wish I were that talented!
