ESSENTIAL OILS FOR HAIR I put my essential oils in an 8 oz bottle of castile shampoo - five drops of each with no more than 10 drops per bottle. HOT OIL TREATMENT Warm a 1/4 cup of almond oil or coconut oil in the microwave, make sure it's not hot, just warm, then add your essential oils. Start with 5 drops each with no more than 10 drops per batch. Massage onto wet, prewashed hair and scalp, and leave for 15 minutes under a warm towel (also warmed in the microwave) then shampoo as normal.
