Indian Museum: is the oldest and the largest Museum not only in the Indian subcontinent but also in the Asia-Pacific region. It has the rare collections of antiques, armour and ornaments, fossils, skeletons, mummies, and Mughal paintings. It was founded by the Asiatic Society of Bengal in Kolkata, India, in 1814. It has six sections comprising 35 galleries of cultural and scientific artifacts particularly Art, anthropology, social science, Geology, zoology and Economic botany.
Katra Mosquo Is One Of The Major Attraction Of Murshidabad. The Structure Was Built By Nawab Murshid Quli Khan In 1723. It Is Also Known As Katra Masjid. This Double Storied Mosque Is Built With Brick And Has An Array Of Domes And Two 70-Ft Tall Octagonal Minarets Which Have Small Holes Used To Keep Weapons. Katra Mosque Can Accommodate About 2000 People Inside The Prayer Area At The Same Time.
