Place a 2-lb pork tenderloin in a slow cooker, pour a 12-oz can of root beer over it and cook on high for 6 hours. Discard juice, cover pork with 1 18-oz jar bbq sauce and heat until sauce is warm. Serve on buns. 1 (18 ounce) bottle of barbecue sauce
A Carolina BBQ Rub. Rub on a trimmed pork roast, wrap in saran and put in fridge overnight. In morning, put roast in crockpot, pour sauce over top (whisk together 1 bottle Sweet Baby Rays, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup Worcestershire, 1/4 cup honey) and cook on low 8 hours, shred and serve. I've tried a number of crockpot pulled pork recipes this year, this is my final recipe. Easy to prep ahead on Sunday, and really good! Can add 1/4 cup Franks Red Hot to sauce for additional heat.
CROCK POT Asian Pork Chops! I just made these today. It came out amazing. Recipe would definitely work with chicken/beef. Mix 1/2 cup soy sauce (I used Lite), 1/2 ketchup. 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 2 cloves minced garlic, and black pepper to taste. Put meat in the crock pot (I used 2.5 pounds boneless pork chops because thats what was already thawed). Pour the sauce mixture over the meat, cook on low for about 5 hours, and the meat is tender and moist. I have outdone myself. Delicious. -K
