This is Josephine. Josephine will be turning 100 years young on May 18, 2013. She has been a mastectomy survivor since 1946. She had her second mastectomy in 1985. She called her prosthesis "her pin cushions". Today, Jo is still a pistol. She assists in arts and crafts classes on Tuesdays at Freedom Square. During WWII, she knit the coverings for sailors and soldiers who lost their limbs while fighting. Jo is an inspiration to us all!
