This bow is the quintessential girl hair accessory that goes with everything and is darling to boot. I love it clipped on the side, but place it right above a pony tail in the back to create a classic look with any outfit. Grab some scraps and sew up a whole half dozen with me …
This is a board I made while teaching fractions to my 4th graders. They loved finding equivalent fractions by "drawing" a line down from the end of a bar and seeing where it intercepts (e.g., 1/2 intercepts with 2/4, 3/6, etc. so they're equivalent). Pretty easy to make - just construction paper glued together.
Simplifying fractions is an essential skill for every math student in the fifth grade or higher. Students need continued practice with simplification in order to successfully add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions. Play this game again and again and work towards mastering this important concept.
Fractions can be a very hard thing to understand. By using this fraction wall in the classroom, teachers will not only have an easier way to teach but students will visually be able to see just how fractions work.
