CAROLINA COLE SLAW ~ I had never, ever, in my years tried this type of slaw. I've whipped up mayo slaws for our cookouts, lunches, etc and gave myself props for how delicious they turn out. Some with pineapple chunks, another recipe I used called for pecans. ALL very delicious. But then I was introduced to a vinegar/oil slaw at a friends home. His mother has been making it for years. She tells me it's an easier slaw to handle at outdoor parties because there is no mayo to keep cold. TRY IT!
