I enjoyed Castel Sant'Angelo more than I thought I would. The guide books make it out to be a lesser attraction, but it's an interesting snapshot of the way Rome finds a way to reuse and integrate it's history. Piazza di Spagna in Roma, Lazio. Okay, it's a deliriously touristy attraction. But it's got immense charm nonetheless. There are reasons people flock there- the epeople being one of them. The view from the top down into the cauldron of humanity is fun for a few minutes. I usually run away as fast as I can after those few minutes are up.
