We LOVED this. I adapted it for the slow cooker in this way: Added broccoli, onion and chicken stock to crock and cooked on high for one hour. Turned to low and added evaporated milk. Stirred well. After 4 hours on low, turn slow cooker OFF (this is important so that the cheese doesn't curdle) and add cheese. Mix well. DELICIOUS! -Laura Beth
"Hobo dinners" Foil packet hamburger dinners in the oven. Easy peasy and delicious! Be generous with your garlic/onion powder on both sides of the meat. Cut your onions slices thick. I skipped the butter that is sometimes suggested.
Iced Oatmeal Cookies These did not turn out flat and crunchy like I wanted. They were fluffy and thick; not the texture for which I was hoping. Next time, I will not process the oats at all. Still very delicious cookies!
