There's one thing I do know... and that is that I love you, Scarlett. In spite of you and me and the whole silly world going to pieces around us, I love you. Because we're alike. Bad lots, both of us. Selfish and shrewd. But able to look things in the eyes as we call them by their right names.

Marilyn Monroe, an iconic woman who battled depression,a negative self image, and addiction. She may have lost that battle, but she has historically set an example for other generations to embrace life's struggles, by choosing the road less traveled, avoiding temporary solutions, and loving yourself unconditionally!!! We can learn from other people's mistakes, as well as our own. Unfortunately, the whole lesson is incomplete unless we realize no one is perfect. So remember, we are no better than the next guy, unless we stop judging, and start accepting the flaws that ultimately mold all of us into unique, special individuals........who also possess many great qualities, we could miss out on, unless we focus on the positive, rather than the negative. After all, when we see a picture of Marilyn Monroe, we recall her accomplishments, not her faults. Don't we all deserve that same kind of recognition ? Think about it ;-)

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) Tells the story of two cabaret performers--blonde bombshell Loreli Lee, who is determined to marry for money, and brunette beauty Dorothy Shaw, who prefers to marry for love. When Loreli's engagement to a millionaire's son goes wrong, the two set sail for Europe, and the fun begins. *** I Love good musicals and this fits the bill.
