Saddle that horse for slick support For support on the side of the tablesaw here’s an inexpensive and effective support requiring just a length of PVC pipe, a few wood scraps, and a sawhorse. From the scrap, fashion two H-shaped saddles—capable of holding a length of 2″ I.D. PVC pipe firmly in place—that fit snugly over your sawhorse’s top rail. Size the saddles so that the PVC pipe stands flush with the top of your tablesaw. —Gil Peck, Pillager, MN
