Enter my translation kitchen. The most challenging part of translating a Roman (or any medieval) recipe citation from A Feast of Ice and Fire book is how to do it in Russian. I suppose that the terms from Old Russian sources will work great, so I'll take any available modern translations and choose English language as a pivot language. That's it — over 100 terms added to my A.S. to Old Russian glossary to make it a good period stylization. Winter is coming. Translate faster!
