I've started the Matched Series and The Maze Runner Series. Some of them don't appeal at all but some look promising! But I bet nothing will compare to The Hunger Games!!

For 5th grade book club
Wonder, the new young adult novel by R.J. Palacio. Every middle school kid should read this. Topics such as kindness, inclusion, meanness and exclusion are a central theme.
Ten-year-old Auggie Pullman, who was born with extreme facial abnormalities and was not expected to survive, goes from being home-schooled to entering fifth grade at a private middle school in Manhattan, which entails enduring the taunting and fear of his classmates as he struggles to be seen as just another student. - ALSC Notable Children's Book 2013
Wonder by R.J. Palacio. To quote one of our 4th grade patrons: "This book was just awesome!" In fact, Wonder was such a satisfying read that I've added it to my running list of 'children's books adults should read'. Homeschooled until now, Auggie is going to start 5th grade at Beecher Prep. Middle school is a social minefield, especially for a kid with genetic facial abnormalities. With engaging characters and some lessons we can all learn, this book is indeed 'just awesome'.
This was a incredible book that really opens your eyes. A book worth reading!
I know it's a children's book , but definitely worth reading. Every young child should read this. ♥
September Book Review: Wonder is a great book to read aloud to older elementary students or middle school students.
