Hungry girl idea:  Use one box of cake mix + 1 can diet cream soda/root beer and bake as directed on box (do not add any other ingredients on the box) = Cake with 100 less calories per serving.  Plus, I made icing with FF cool whip + FF cream cheese + vanilla + splenda.  Yum!
