    you can get the vases at Dollar Tree for $1 each. 3 bags of the rocks at $1 each, and the floating candles in a 6 pack for $2.99 at Hob Lob. With a super gorgeous orchid as the flower, in the colors of the wedding, you've got yourself a very pretty, and very thrifty centerpiece!

    Preserve cut flowers and liven droopy ones by adding 2 tablespoons white distilled vinegar and 1 teaspoon sugar to a quart of water in a vase.

    If you have white or very light-colored flowers in a vase, add food coloring to the water. As they absorb the colored water, the flowers will become a muted version of that new color.

    These were super inexpensive & quick to make. The glass vases, mirrors and flowers were all purchased from the Dollar Tree for $1 each. The flowers actually came off a Hawaiian Lei that I took apart. The lighting is a submersible led light. I've seen them on eBay - a dozen for $15. These will be on a white table cloth (that isn't wrinkled like it looks in the photo). Just place the light in the vase, add water and then place the flowers in the water.
